Bill Hader (‘The To Do List,’ ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs’) is reportedly in talks for the lead in the indie comedy ‘Lawless,’ reports THR.
The film, formerly titled ‘20 Year Itch,’ centres on the head of a high school reunion committee “who has to do whatever it takes to get the most popular guy from high school to show up to their 20th reunion. Unfortunately, that guy is now an actor in commercials, so the committee chairman flies to L.A. and finds himself in the arcane world of celebrities.”
‘Lawless’ will mark the directorial debut of screenwriters Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul (‘Yes Man’). Mike White and RipCord Productions partner David Bernad will produce.
