Will Sacha Baron Cohen tackle Walter Mitty remake?

Sacha Baron Cohen has been linked to the upcoming remake of The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty.

The Brüno star is reportedly in talks to play the titular role in the comedy, based on Danny Kaye’s 1947 original.

In development since 1994, Jim Carrey was initially due to play the lead, before he eventually dropped out. Owen Wilson and Mike Myers were also being considered for the role.

The movie is also without a director, after both Ron Howard and Steven Spielberg pulled out of proceedings.

Peter Morgan is believed to be drafting the latest script for the project.
