Firth and Blanchett teaming with Streisand for romantic drama.
Barbra Streisand is to return to directing after a sixteen absence after closing a deal to helm the romantic drama ‘Skinny and Cat.’
The film, penned by Linda Yellen, tells the real-life romance between ‘Tobacco Road’ author Erskine Caldwell and famed photojournalist Margaret Bourke White. Colin Firth and Cate Blanchet are attached to star.
According to Showblitz the film will begin shooting in January and will be independently financed.
