It has been revealed that Universal Pictures and Montecito Picture Co. are in the early stages of developing a follow-up to Ivan Reitman’s 1988 comedy ‘Twins.’
Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito the original centered on a physically perfect, but innocent, man who goes in search of his twin brother, who is a short small-time crook
According to THR, the new film, ‘Triplets,’ would see Schwarzenegger and DeVito reprising their roles as brothers Julius and Vincent, who discover they have third sibling, played by Eddie Murphy.
Reitman will serve as producer with his Montecito Picture Co. partners Joe Medjuk, Tom Pollock and Ali Bell. The hunt is now on to find writers and a director.
