Political thriller continues to fill out its cast.

The cast of Robert Redford’s political thriller already boats an impressive ensemble cast of Redford, Shia LaBeouf, Brit Marling, Nick Nolte, Susan Sarandon, Richard Jenkins, Julie Christie, Stephen Root, Stanley Tucci and Chris Cooper.

Now a quintet of stars has signed up for the thriller. Joining the Lem Dobbs-scripted project are Brendan Gleeson, Anna Kendrick, Sam Elliott, Terrence Howard and Jackie Evancho.

Based on the novel by Neil Gordon, the thriller sees Redford playing a former Weather Underground militant wanted by the FBI for 30 years who must go on the run when a young, ambitious reporter (played by LaBeouf) exposes his true identity.

According to Variety, Kendrick will play a young FBI agent and former flame of LaBeouf’s. She provides him with the information regarding Redford’s character that puts LaBeouf on his trail

Howard will play the senior FBI agent on the case who has been chasing after Redford for years. Gleeson will play the retired Michigan Chief of Police who was investigating the case in the 1960s. Elliott will play the former love interest of Julie Christie’s character, while 11-year-old ‘America’s Got Talent’ finalist Evancho will play Redford’s daughter.
