Ang Lee to helm 3-D Life of Pi
Ang Lee is setto turn Canadian author Yann Martel’s 2001 bestseller and Booker Prize-winning novel The Life of Pi into a 3D movie.
A screenplay has been written and Lee will produce and direct the film, once Fox 2000 gives the go-ahead.
Location scouting has been going on in Taiwan and Pondicherry, a city in southern India, but no casting has been done.
The story follows a teenaged boy who surives a shipwreck and finds himself at sea on a lifeboat with a zebra, a hyena and a tiger.
