Nestlé Ireland and Sony Pictures are hosting an Irish gala screening of The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! on Sunday 25th March at the brand new Odeon Cinema at The Point Village at 3.00pm. Tickets for this fun day-out are priced at €10.00 per person. Adventure is guaranteed on and off screen; with fun family activities kicking off at 2.00pm such as face painting, jugglers and special prizes for those dressed as their favourite Pirate! But that’s not all, everyone will receive complimentary popcorn, water and a goodie bag jammed packed with lots of treats and surprises.
In The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists, Hugh Grant stars in his first animated role as the luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain – a boundlessly enthusiastic, if somewhat less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. With a rag-tag crew at his side (Martin Freeman, Brendan Gleeson, Russell Tovey, and Ashley Jensen), and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. The Jack & Jill Foundation provides nationwide home nursing care and support for children with brain damage who suffer severe intellectual and physical trauma, as well as offering essential respite and support to their parents and families.
