Scribe hired for graphic novel adaptation.

Walden Media, the company behind the ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ franchise, is moving forward with its adaptation of James Turner’s humorous comic book series ‘Rex Libris,’ reports variety.

Published by Slave Labor Graphics (‘Squee,’ ‘Johnny the Homicidal Maniac’), the series follows the zombie-slaying adventures of librarian Rex Libris as he protects the books of the Middleton Public Library and guards the world’s literary treasures from a host of supernatural foes.

Adapting the script will be screenwriter Ben Zazove.
