“Ace Ventura 3” heads straight to DVD
The third movie in the Ace Ventura franchise will not receive a theatrical release.
Ace Ventura Jr: Pet Detective will head straight to DVD, hitting stores in the US on March 3, 2009.
The film, a follow-up to the Jim Carrey features of the 1990s, features Nancy Drew actor Josh Flitter as the offbeat detective’s son. He is fighting to save the family name after his mother is accused of stealing a baby panda.
The DVD release will also feature six behind-the-scenes featurettes, extended scenes and a gag reel.
