The director of Road Trip, Old School and Starsky and Hutch talks about his latest movie The Hangover
It’s one of the biggest R-rated bromance comedy successes of all time and refreshingly, Judd Apatow isn’t in sight! Instead, the film comes courtesy of director Todd Phillips, the man responsible for such films as Road Trip, Old School and the excellent Starsky and Hutch
Nominally, The Hangover is about three guys (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis) who bring a groom-to-be (Justin Bartha) to Sin City for a final night of debauchery before his wedding day. But it’s really the story of what happens when the three awake the next morning, without the groom but with a baby, a chicken and a tiger belonging to Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, in their trashed hotel suite
Paul Byrne sat down with the director to discuss the film’s success, working with the cast and his thoughts on a Hangover sequel.
“The Hangover” is in Irish cinemas now!
