James Franco may co-star.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have signed up to direct ‘The Interview,’ a comedy penned by the long-time collaborators and Dan Sterling (‘The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,’ ‘The Sarah Silverman Show’).
‘The Interview’ follows revolves around “a talk show producer and his host who find themselves in way over their heads when they get involved in a plot assassinate the prime minister of North Korea.”
According to THR, Rogen will take the role of the producer, with his ‘Pineapple Express’ and ‘Freak and Geeks’ co-star James Franco being eyed for the part of the talk show host. The two most recently worked together on ‘This Is The End,’ which Rogen directed with Goldberg.
