Actors set for indie drama.
Variety has word that Samuel L. Jackson (‘Avengers Assemble’) and Dominic Cooper (‘The Devil’s Double’) have signed on to headline the indie legal thriller ‘Reasonable Doubt.’
Written by Peter Dowling (‘Flightplan’) and to be directed by Peter Howitt (‘Sliding Doors’), the film centres on an up-and-coming Assistant District Attorney prosecuting a fatal hit-and-run case with inconclusive evidence. Following the trial, the Assistant District Attorney finds himself struggling to hunt the man he got acquitted.
Production on the thriller is scheduled to kick off in Canada in November with Paradox Entertainment co-producing with South Creek Pictures, and Bavariapool.
