Actor lines up his second directorial effort.
Philip Seymour Hoffman (‘The Master,’ ‘Jack Goes Boating’) is attached to direct the Depression Era ghost story ‘Ezekiel Moss.’
Topping the 2011 Black List, the Keith Bunin-penned screenplay follows a imaginative 11 year old boy living in a small Nebraska town, who befriends a mysterious drifter who has the power to channel the souls of the dead.
Cathy Schulman and Adam Stone of Mandalay Pictures are on board to produce along with Stefanie Azpiazu and Anthony Bregman of Likely Story, and Emily Ziff of Hoffman’s Cooper’s Town Productions.
“Hoffman is one of the great talents of our generation,” Schulman commented. “We are thrilled to be in his capable hands directing this captivating and gothic exploration of faith and the supernatural.”
