Production scheduled for October.
Actor/director Mark Webber (‘Save The Date,’ ‘The End of Love,’ ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’) has signed on to star in and executive produce the indie sci-fi horror ‘Welcome To Willits,’ reports Deadline.
Set to begin principal photography this October with Trevor and Tim Ryan writing and directing, the film will see Webber playing Brock, “a pot farmer who along with some unlucky campers runs into mysterious creatures in the Northern California woods that are responsible for several abductions and attacks.”
Metamorphic Films and Real Horror Show Pictures are co-producing with Ron Karkosa and Mark Villalobos of Monster FX handling the creature design and special FX.
