Opening in Irish cinemas this Christmas, WONKA starring Timothée Chalamet is set to be a treat for the senses with ‘Paddington’ director Paul King capturing the tone and spirit of the original film, based on the beloved novel by Roald Dahl. This prequel tells the story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today. Ireland’s own Neil Hannon (aka The Divine Comedy) provides the music, while Hugh Grant pops up as an Oompa Loompa.
