Disney is continuing its plan to provide origin stories for some of their classic villains and cast them in a new light, following on from the Angelina Jolie-led ‘Maleficent’ we now have Emma Stone playing the villain Cruella De Vil from Disney’s classic ’101 Dalmatians’; A project we first wrote about back in 2013 here –> https://www.movies.ie/live-action-cruella-de-vil-film-in-development/.
So now 8 years later we get our first look at the teaser trailer and it’s clearly been worth the wait. Oscar winner Emma Stone looks like she’s having the time of her life playing the dog-hating fashion icon turned supervillain. Watch below.

Set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs.
