The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival is back for another year

Stuck for a Christmas present for the movie fan who has everything? Don’t settle for socks or a cheap DVD box-set, the people at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival have come up with the perfect idea with Festival Gift Vouchers, which can be purchased in denominations from 10 euro upwards.

 

Running from Feb 12th to Feb 22nd 2009, the JDIFF will screen over 130 of the finest films from all over the world, including a number of special screenings with the cast and crew in attendance.

The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival is now in its 7th year, and is one of the foremost cultural events of the year. In 2008 the festival brought audiences a diverse range of cinematic gems, from gala presentations of In Bruges, There Will be Blood and U2:3D, to films like Dambe: The Mali Project, a Jonas Mekas retrospective and with special guests including Colin Farrell, Daniel Day Lewis, Stuart Townsend, Charlize Theron, Mike Leigh and U2 amongst others.

 

The full programme for next years festival will be unveiled at midnight January 21st, however Movies.ie will be bringing you sneak previews between now and then.
