Full cast revealed for fantasy epic…
Willem Dafoe (‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’) and ‘Game of Thrones’ star Pedro Pascal are confirmed to be joining Matt Damon on the cast of Legendary Pictures’ fantasy epic ‘The Great Wall.’
Acclaimed Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou (‘Hero,’ ‘House of Flying Daggers’) is behind the camera for the story of “an elite force making a last stand for humanity on the world’s most iconic structure.”
Chinese stars Andy Lau, Jing Tian, Zhang Hanyu, Eddie Peng, Lu Han, Lin Gengxin, Zheng Kai, Chen Xuedong, Huang Xuan, Wang Junkai, Yu Xintian, and Liu Qiong round out the supporting cast.
Production is slated to begin in China at the end of March with the script coming from Doug Miro Carlo Bernard, with rewrites by ‘Bourne Ultimatum’ scribe Tony Gilroy.
