‘Focus’ star adds action thriller his upcoming slate…
Will Smith, who is hitting cinemas next week with ‘Focus,’ has signed on to produce and star in the action-thriller ‘Bounty.’
According to the folks at THR, the story is set in Boston and centres on “a man who is wrongly convicted of murder. He escapes from prison determined to prove his innocence — a nearly impossible task after the widow of the man he supposedly killed puts a $10 million bounty on him, dead or alive.”
Madhouse Entertainment’s Adam Kolbrenner is co-producing the project with Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment. The spec script was penned by Sascha Penn.
FOCUS opens in Irish cinemas February 27th.
