Yet another film to become a TV series….
Mark Wahlberg is reportedly teaming up with the folks at Paramount TV for a small screen adaptation of the 2007 conspiracy thriller ‘Shooter.’
Adapted from the novel ‘Point of Impact’ by Stephen Hunter, the Antoine Fuqua-directed film starred Wahlberg as Bob Lee Swagger, a marksman living in exile who is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the President, only to be framed for the attempt.
Wahlberg and producing partner Stephen Levinson (‘Boardwalk Empire,’ ‘Entourage’) will executive produce, with John Hlavin (‘The Shield,’ ‘ Underworld: Awakening’) providing the script.
