Meryl Streep chats about her all-singing, all-dancing role in the Abba inspired flick ‘Mamma Mia!’, out on DVD this weekend
From concentration camp survivor (Sophie’s Choice) to Prada wearing Diva (The Devil Wears Prada), Meryl Streep can do it all. Now, the Oscar winning actress takes the final plunge: the movie-musical.
‘In Mamma Mia!’, Streep plays single mother Donna. As her daughter Sophie’s wedding day approaches, three men (Brosnan, Firth, Skarsgard) arrive, all assuming to be the father of the bride. Shock reunions, confusions and Abba’s greatest hits ensue.
