MIGRATION – First Look at Illumination’s Animated Road-Trip Adventure

Next year, Illumination, creators of the blockbuster Minions, Despicable Me, Sing and The Secret Life of Pets comedies, invites you to take flight into the thrill of the unknown with a funny, feathered family vacation like no other in the action-packed new original comedy, MIGRATION.

Directed by acclaimed French animation filmmaker Benjamin Renner (‘Ernest & Celestine,’ ‘The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales’) from a screenplay by Mike White (‘White Lotus,’ ‘School of Rock’), MIGRATION follows a family of ducks who try to convince their overprotective father to go on the vacation of a lifetime as they attempt to migrate from New England, through New York City, and ultimately down to Jamaica.

The voice cast for the animated road-trip adventure includes Kumail Nanjiani as an anxious Mallard dad name Mack, with Elizabeth Banks playing his wife, Pam, the Mallards’ daring, quick-witted matriarch. Caspar Jennings and Tresi Gazal voice their children. ‘Crazy Rich Asains’ and ‘Shang Chi’ star Awkwafina will voice the scrappy leader of a New York City pigeon gang,, with the legendary Carol Kane voicing a heron named Erin. Keegan-Michael Key, David Mitchell and Danny DeVito are also on board to lend their voices.
