Actress Katie Holmes (‘The Giver,’ ‘Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark’) is set to step behind the camera to make her directorial debut with the Josh Boone-scripted drama ‘All We Had.’
Based on artist Annie Weatherwax’s novel, the drama tells of an impoverished mother and daughter who find an unlikely home in small-town America.
In addition to directing, Holmes will produce the project with Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh.
