The Rock talks UFOs, wrestling and remaking the classic sci-fi flick “Race to Witch Mountain”
He might have started out as a spandex wearing wrestler dubbed “The Rock” but over the last few years Dwayne Johnson has become better known for his family friend flicks.
Now the actor is reuniting with his “Game Plane” director Andy Fickman for a remake of the 1975 movie “Escape to Witch Mountain”. Renamed “Race to Witch Mountain”, the film finds Johnson playing Jack, a wise-cracking taxi driver charged with protecting two two siblings with paranormal powers from the clutches of an organisation that wants to use the kids for their nefarious plans.
Paul Byrne recently met the actor to discuss the sci-fi remake and to get the former Wrestler’s take on last years big hit “The Wrestler”:
