For one day only Doctor Who fans will be able to watch the hugely anticipated 50th anniversary special ‘The Day Of The Doctor’ on the big screen in eye-popping 3D. This special epsiode will be broadcast on November 23rd in 75 countries simultaneously in order to avoid plot leaks and is set to be the world’s biggest drama simulcast. A trailer for the The Day Of The Doctor was recently unveiled with current Time Lord Matt Smith heard saying: ‘I’ve been running all my lives. Through time and space, every second of every minute of every day for over 900 years. I fought for peace in a universe at war.
‘Now the time has come to face the choices I have made in the name of the Doctor. Our future depends on one single moment of one impossible day. The day I’ve been running from all my life: The Day of the Doctor!’
In addition to Matt Smith, the one-off special, entitled The Day of the Doctor stars former Time Lord David Tennant and Jenna Coleman, with Billie Piper and John Hurt.
