THE WOLFMAN Being Adapted For TV

Classic Universal monster making jump to television…

The good folk over at Deadline are hearing that Daniel Knauf, the head writer/executive producer on NBC’s ‘Dracula,’ is in development on a small screen adaptation of Universal’s ‘The Wolfman.’

Inspired by Joe Johnston’s 2010 remake starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins, the series, entitled ‘The WolfMan,’ is described as “a supernatural thriller that explores what it means to be a man and to be human. It centres on Lawrence Talbot, who is afflicted by an ancient curse and jacks into the powerful, primordial soul of the alpha-predator.”

Knauf will write and executive produce the series with Scott Stuber and his Bluegrass Films and TV partner Quan Phung.
