Variety has word that Shia LaBeouf (‘Fury’) is attached to star in ‘American Honey,’ the forthcoming American feature debut of British filmmaker Andrea Arnold (‘Fish Tank,’ ‘Wuthering Heights,’ ‘Red Road’).
The coming-of-age tale centres on a teenager with nothing to lose who joins a travelling magazine sales crew, and gets caught up in a whirlwind of hard partying, law bending and young love. Arnold wrote the script.
Producers on the project include Lars Knudsen, Jay Van Hoy, Thomas Benski, Lucas Ochoa, and Pouya Shahbazian.
