Sara Colangelo to Direct Michael Keaton & Stanley Tucci In WHAT IS LIFE WORTH

Michael Keaton (‘Birdman,’ ‘Spotlight’) and Stanley Tucci (‘A Private War,’ ‘Spotlight,’ ‘The Lovely Bones’) are on board to headline ‘What Is Life Worth’ with Sara Colangelo (‘The Kindergarten Teacher,’ ‘Little Accidents’) behind the camera.

An Erin Brockovich/Spotlight-type story, ‘What Is Life Worth’ is based on the acclaimed memoir by Kenneth Feinberg and tells how Feinberg was appointed to administer the federal 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund, a unique, unprecedented fund established by Congress to compensate families who lost a loved one on 9/11 and survivors who were physically injured in the attacks. In almost 3 years of pro bono work on the case, Feinberg fought off the cynicism, bureaucracy and politics associated with administering government funds to victim’s families and in doing so, discovers what life is worth.

Max Borenstein (‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters,’ ‘Kong: Skull Island’) is providing the screenplay, while Michael Sugar and MadRiver Pictures Marc Butan produce., Sean Sorensen, Borenstein, Bard Dorros and Keaton will co-produce.
