Kevin Bacon Returning for TREMORS TV Series

A small screen continuation of the cult classic ‘Tremors’ is in the works with Kevin Bacon on board star and produce, says EW.

Directed by Ron Underwood (‘City Slickers’), the 1990 original starred Bacon and Fred Ward as a pair of small-town handymen who, along a handful of their neighbours, fight for survival against giant, worm-like monsters.

Bacon will reprise his role of Valentine McKee, with the action once again taking place in the town of Perfection. Andrew Miller is penning the series.

‘Tremors’ spawned four direct-to-video sequels (Bacon only appeared in the original). A TV spinoff called ‘Tremors: The Series,’ aired for one season back in 2003.
