Smith fills out cast for next feature…
Kevin Smith’s next directorial effort, the indie horror ‘Tusk,’ is set to commence filming next month in North Carolina with Justin Long (‘Best Man Down’), Michael Park (‘Red State’) and Génesis Rodriguez (‘Man On A Ledge’) starring, reports Variety.
Described by Smith as an “unsettling tale,” the story follows “a podcaster who sets out to interview an eccentric, reclusive old seafarer, only to find himself a plaything in the gruesome plot of a deranged killer.”
Smith will direct the indie from his own script, with Sam Englebardt and William D. Johnson of Demarest Films producing alongside Smith and his Smodcast Pictures partner Shannon McIntosh.
