Clooney attached to star in ‘A Very Private Gentleman’
George Clooney has been lined up to star in the adaptation of A Very Private Gentleman.
The original Martin Booth novel told the story of an assassin who hides out in an idyllic Italian town by posing as an artist. Normally anti-social, he relents and becomes friends with the locals, which causes complications for his last mission.
28 Weeks Later writer Rowan Joffe is penning the script, while Anton Corbijn will direct.
