Emily Blunt Joins THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN

Emily Blunt (‘Sicario,’ Edge of Tomorrow,’ ‘Into the Woods’) has reportedly scored the lead in the upcoming adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ bestselling novel, ‘The Girl On The Train,’

Blunt will play Rachel, a woman devastated by her recent divorce who spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.

‘Get On Up’ and ‘The Help’ director Tate Taylor is attached to direct the Hitchcockian thriller, with Erin Cressida (‘Secretary’) providing the script.
