Kristen Stewart, who is currently off shooting the Elizabeth Banks-directed reboot of ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ has entered into talks for the same-sex romantic comedy ‘Happiest Season.’
The next directorial effort from actress-turned-filmmaker Clea DuVall (‘The Intervention,’ ‘The Faculty,’ ‘Argo’), ‘Happiest Season’ tells the of a young woman whose plans to propose to her girlfriend while at her family’s annual holiday party are upended when she discovers her other half hasn’t yet come out to her conservative parents.
Marty Bowen (‘The Hate U Give;), Jaclyn Huntling (‘The Maze Runner’) and Isaac Klausner (‘Love, Simon’) are on board to produce, with the script coming from DuVall and Mary Holland.
