‘White God’ helmer Kornel Mundruczo is teaming up with Bradley Cooper (‘Joy,’ ‘American Sniper’) for the sci-fi thriller ‘Deeper.’
Featuring a script by ‘Chronicle’ and ‘American Ultra’ scribe Max Landis, the story revolves around “a disgraced astronaut, who embarks on a mission to reach the bottom of a newly discovered oceanic trench, theorized to be the lowest point on planet Earth. He encounters an increasing level of danger, and soon finds himself in a physical and psychological fight against mysterious forces.
Landis will take a producing credit on the project, alongside David Goyer and Kevin Turen of Phantom Four, and Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder over at Addictive Pictures.
