SING STREET

In Dublin of the 1980s, Conor finds himself sent to a new school – the Christian Brothers’ school on Dublin’s Synge Street – after his family runs into financial trouble. While trying to impress Raphina, Connor tells her he is in a band, and finds himself having to reverse engineer one when she agrees to be in their music video.

After the company they work for loses €14 billion overnight, Harry (Killian Scott) and Vernon (John Bradley) find themselves unemployed and desperate. Vernon, however, has a plan. Named ‘Trading’ the plan involves two consenting adults cashing in all their belongings then engaging in a winner take all fight to the death. Although Harry becomes all too good at Trading, he soon has people gearing up to take him down.

ZOOTROPOLIS

Zootropolis plays with the classical Disney idea of anthropomorphic animals; the film is set in a fantastic world where humans never happened, and animals have designed and built their own cities. The film sees a cunning fox named Nick Wilde team up with a bunny cop called Judy to race against time and solve a missing mammal case.

LONDON HAS FALLEN

In this sequel to ‘Olympus Has Fallen’, the leaders of the most powerful countries in the world attend the UK Prime Minister’s funeral in London, and the event is one of the most protected to ever take place. Of course, this does not stop the criminals, and when the President of the United States is threatened once more, it is up to Agent Mike Banning to save the day.

When the family’s newborn son is kidnapped and murdered by a witch who lives in the forest near their home. This is just the start of a terrifying assault on the family by the witch, and something far more sinister.

THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEGIANT

In a dystopian version of the 1970s, Dr Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) moves into a new apartment in a high-rise complex. Laing soon learns that social classes play a large part of life in the building, with the architect of the project, Anthony Royal (Jeremy Irons) living on the 40th floor, his apartment complete with a huge and beautiful garden. When the power goes out on the lower floors of the high rise, order soon breaks down in the building, leading to chaos.
