Rising star Ansel Elgort of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ and ‘Divergent’ fame has closed a deal to headline the Sam Munson adaptation ‘November Criminals’ alongside Chloë Grace Moretz (‘The Equalizer,’ ‘If I Stay’).
With ‘Hitchcock’ helmer Sacha Gervasi behind the camera, the Washington D.C. set film follows two high-school seniors who take it upon himself to investigate the murder of fellow student.
Gervasi will direct the teen thriller from a script adapted by Steven Knight (‘Locke,’ ‘Eastern Promises’). Catherine Keener (‘Captain Phillips’) is on board for a supporting role.
