Michael B. Jordan Attached to THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR Remake

Michael B. Jordan (‘Creed,’ ‘Fruitvale Station,’ ‘Chronicle’) has signed on for MGM’s latest remake of the heist thriller ‘The Thomas Crown Affair.’

Directed by Norman Jewison, the 1968 original starred Steve McQueen as a debonair bank executive who believes he has pulled off the perfect multi-million dollar heist, only to match wits with a insurance investigator (played by Faye Dunaway) who will do anything to get her man.

John McTiernan helmed a 1999 remake starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. The film was a hit, both critically and commercially.

The Jordan-led remake is in the early stages of development and has no producer, writer or director attached.
