Aussie star cast for sports betting tale…
Margot Robbie (‘Suicide Squad,’ ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’) has to take the lead in the upcoming drama ‘Dangerous Odds,’ says Deadline.
The film will see the Australian actress playing Marisa Lankester, “a young beautiful woman who became an insider atop the largest illegal sports betting organization in the U.S., and eventually a victim of a dangerous world of corruption.”
Andrea Berloff (‘Straight Outta Compton,’ ‘World Trade Center’) is adapting the script based on Lankester’s memoir.
