First official piece of concept art from the live-action/CGI hybrid features a glimpse of Mowgli and Bagheera
THE JUNGLE BOOK features the voices of Ben Kingsley (‘Iron Man 3′) as Bagheera, Lupita Nyong’o (’12 Years a Slave’) and Christopher Walken (‘Seven Psycopaths’) as Raksha and King Louie. Idris Elba (‘Thor: The Dark World’) is voicing Shere Khan, with Scarlett Johansson (‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’) as Kaa the python, and Bill Murray (‘St. Vincent”) as Baloo. Newcomer Neel Sethi is playing Mowgli.
Blending computer-generated with live-action, the story tells of Mowgli—a man-cub raised in the jungle by a family of wolves— and his captivating journey of self-discovery when he’s forced to abandon the only home he’s ever known.
THE JUNGLE BOOK is pencilled in for an October 2015 release.
