JK Simmons Moves To KONG: SKULL ISLAND

Character actor set for King Kong actioner…

The awesome J.K. Simmons (‘Terminator: Genisys,’ ‘Men, Women & Children’) is to join Tom Hiddleston (‘Crimson Peak,’ ‘Thor: The Dark World’) on the cast of the Jordan Vogt-Roberts-directed King Kong origin tale ‘Kong: Skull Island.’

Featuring a script by ‘Godzilla’ screenwriter Max Borenstein, the blockbuster will fully immerse audiences in the mysterious and dangerous home of the king of the apes as a team of explorers ventures deep inside the treacherous, primordial island.

Thomas Tull (‘Godzilla,’ ‘Pacific Rim,’ ‘The Dark Knight’) and Jon Jashni (‘Warcraft,’ ‘Godzilla’) will produce with Alex Garcia (‘Godzilla’) serving as executive producer.

‘Kong: Skull Island’ is slated for release March 2017.

Simmons will next be seen starring alongside Miles Teller is the Sundance hit ‘Whiplash’ when it opens in Irish cinemas January 16th 2015.
