Golden Globe winner Jennifer Lawrence will take the female lead in in Darren Aronofsky’s untitled next, with Javier Bardem in talks to play the male lead, reports Variety.
Aronofsky will write, direct and produce the film, which centres on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.
Scott Franklin and Ari Handel are on board to produce the project alongside Aronofsky.
Lawrence’s latest, the David O. Russell-directed ‘Joy,’ is in cinemas across the country now.
