Britt Robertson to co-star…
Director Bruce Beresford (‘Evelyn,’ ‘Driving Miss Daisy’) is set to team with Eddie Murphy for the drama ‘Cook.’
The film, originally slated to star Samuel L. Jackson, will see Murphy playing a chef hired by a dying man to help take care of his girlfriend and daughter by cooking them meals after he passes away.
Britt Robertson (‘Tomorrowland,’ ‘The Dome’) is on board to take the role of the man’s daughter, Charlotte.
Production is kicks off this month with ‘Californication’ scribe Susan McMartin providing the script. Mark Canton (‘300,’ ‘Immortals,’ ‘Escape Plan’) will produce.
