Danny Boyle's STEVE JOBS Biopic Courting Seth Rogen for Steve Wozniak Role

Rogen may join Christian Bale for tech drama…

Multiple outlets are saying that Seth Rogen (‘Bad Neighbours,’ ’50/50′ ‘The Sound and the Fury’) is the frontrunner to portray Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in the forthcoming Steve Jobs biopic.

Danny Boyle is in the director’s chair with film unfolding in ‘real time’ with three long scenes – each taking place backstage before one of Apple’s famous product launches. The script comes from ‘Social Network’ and ‘Moneyball’ screenwriter Aaron Sorkin.

Christian Bale (‘American Hustle,’ ‘Out of the Furnace’) recently came on board to portray tech pioneer Jobs, who passed away in 2011 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Scott Rudin is producing the tech drama along with Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady, while Wozniak will serve as a consultant.

Rogen will next be seen starring alongside James Franco in the action comedy ‘The Interview’ when its hits Irish cinemas February 2015.
