Rising star Daisy Ridley (‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’) will take the lead in ‘The Lost Wife,’ a drama based on the book by Alyson Richman, says Variety.

Adapted by Marc Klein, the drama takes place in pre-war Prague where Lenka Maisel, a talented art student, and Josef Kohn, her best friend’s older brother, fall madly in love — only to have their dreams shattered by the imminent Nazi invasion.

Producers on the drama include Robbie Brenner (‘Dallas Buyers Club’), Michelle Chydzik (‘Starter for 10’) and Jeff Waxman (‘John Wick: Chapter Two’). The project is without a director.
