COMPETITION – Win passes to the IFI HORRRORTHON 2019 October 12, 2019 The most horrifying event in the Irish film calendar, IFI Horrorthon returns this month to the newly refurbished IFI . This year’s festival, the most international in its history, will open on Thursday October 24th with the Irish premiere of Abe Forsythe’s zom-com Little Monsters starring Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o. Nyong’o plays a kindergarten teacher who must protect her class from hoards of the undead with the help of a children’s entertainer, played by Josh Gad. The opening event will include a screening of James Quinn’s new short Daughter of Dismay, screening in 70mm. Tickets to the opening night screening of Little Monsters, including a complimentary beer or soft drink, cost €15. A five-day festival pass is available for €160, including admission to Little Monsters. Five-film passes are available for €50 and ten-film passes are available for €90, excluding Little Monsters.
