Hugh Jackman hints at Wolverine sequel in 2011

Hugh Jackman has suggested that the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine could begin shooting next year.

Speaking to MTV, Jackman said: “Wolverine’s going to be back. He’s going to Japan. We shoot that probably in a year, year and a half, something like that.”

Director Gavin Hood has expected to return to helm the project. Screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie, who penned the first film, has signed on for the sequel.
