Pariost will join the time travelling slackers at the Circle K.
Vulture has word that ‘Bill & Ted’ writer/creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon have enlisted Dean Parisot (‘Fun with Dick and Jane,’ ‘Galaxy Quest’) to direct a threequel to the time travelling comedy.
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are confirmed to be returning with the movie addressing where lovable losers Ted Theodore Logan and Bill S. Preston, Esq. are in their lives today. Talking to MTV back in 2011 Reeves revealed the outline for the third outing.
“When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened. So they’ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there’s an element of time and they have to go back.”
Matheson and Solomon are in the process of putting together finances and are believed to be planning the movie as a “mid-priced studio comedy like ‘Hot Tub Time Machine.’”
