Ben Stiller says no more blue steel!
Ben Stiller has suggested that previously announced Zoolander film may not happen.
Writing on his Twitter, Stiller said that the studio behind the original film, which saw the actor play dimwitted male model Derek Zoolander, is not willing to back the sequel”
“Ron Burgundy and Derek Zoolander looking to appear in sequels,” he said, referring to the recently shelved Anchorman 2. “Both men destitute, without means or intellect to fund their own comebacks.”
It had previously been reported that Tropic Thunder writer Justin Theroux would write and direct a follow-up to the 2001 comedy hit.
