‘Hunger Games’ pair re-team for revenge thriller…
Deadline is reporting that ‘Hunger Games’ co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson are set to star in the revenge action thriller ‘By Way Of Helena’ for Aussie filmmaker Kieran Darcy-Smith (‘Wish You Were Here’).
Based on the Black List script by Matt Cook, the story is set at the turn of the century in Helena, Texas and follows a Texas Ranger (Hemsworth) and his Mexican wife who are sent to investigate a mysterious frontier town where multiple Mexican bodies keep washing up on the riverbank. There he squares off against a local preacher named Abraham (Harrelson) who holds the townsfolk in a fearful grip.
Filming is expected to commence in September with David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman producing through their Mandeville Films shingle.
