Actress will pull double duty for romantic comedy.
Reese Witherspoon (‘This Means War,’ ‘Water for Elephants’) is set to produce and star in ‘The Beard,’ a romantic comedy penned by Becca Greene (‘Good Vibes’).
There are no specific plot details but according to THR, the spec script revolves around a woman who poses as the significant other of her male friends to help them conceal their homosexuality.
Witherspoon will produce the film with Peter Chernin of Chernin Entertainment. The actress is currently filming Atom Egoyan’s true life crime thriller ‘Devil’s Knot.’
